| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The XT and XTA models are the world's most affordable angle-compensated laser rangefinders. They have two modes. In mode 1, they measure line-of-sight distance and in mode 2, horizontal distance. What's the difference? Line-of-sight distance is: The distance from the rangefinder to the target. Horizontal distance is: The distance from the rangefinder to a point horizontal to the rangefinder directly above or below the target. What does it mean to you? For hunters, it means aiming at a deer or elk below or above your position and getting the true distance that you need to calculate your trajectory. No guesses, no mental computations, no counting your fingers and toes. Just read the distance on the LCD display and aim accordingly. The XT series are made in the U.S.A., have a simple one-button operation, are powered by a single nine-volt battery (included), measure a minimum of four yards and have an automatic rain mode which ignores highly reflective rain drops with no compromise to the other features. They are accurate to +/- 1 yard and can be set to measure in feet, yards or meters. The 120XTA and the 400XTA series are identical to all XT models and ranges, however they have an improved accuracy of +/- 1/2 yard and a narrower beam, thus allowing for tighter shots. In Black.
